Review: Buxom Mascara

Hello everyone! Today I'm going to do a review on a new mascara that I recently picked up from Sephora! It's called the Buxom Lash Mascara.

This mascara is great! It makes makes my lashes super long and gives them a ton of volume! The brush on this mascara is very unique as you can see in the picture above. One thing that I don't like about this mascara though, is that it does NOT hold a curl AT ALL. My lashes are literally stick straight, so I need a mascara thats going to hold a curl. This did not. But I do love this mascara as a layering mascara! I put on my all time FAVORITE mascara- L'Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara- and then put the Buxom Lash as a second coat and it makes my lashes thick and full and long!

Overall, I would recommend this mascara if your lashes are naturally curled, or if you like to layer your mascaras. This mascara is $18 and you can find it at Sephora!

Nail of the Day/Explanation!

Hey guys! I know I've been gone for SO LONG. I just got back from vacation! But I'm back now so expect blogs posts everyday!

Anyway, I wanted to do a quick nail of the day because I love the nail polish I'm wearing!!

I'm sorry for the bad quality, I took this on my iPhone! But anyway, the nail polish I'm wearing is Essie's Turquoise and Caicos, and then on my ring finger I have on Revlon's Blue Lagoon. I have been loving this combo! These colors are beautiful together!

Review: Benefit Coralista Blush

Hey guys! So today I will be doing a review on one of my favorite blushes - Benefit Coralsita. This blush is a beautiful coral color (obviously) and it looks great on all skin tones.

To be honest, at first I didn't think I would like this blush at all. I thought it was going to be way too bright on my very very very pale skin tone. The first thing I noticed was that is was SUPER pigmented. All you need is one tap with your brush and your good to go for both cheeks! When I was first put it on, I was pleasantly surprise. It looked BEAUTIFUL! I couldn't get over how it gave the prettiest flush to my cheeks. Plus- it lasted all day!

Overall, this blush has cute packaging, great pigmentation, and good staying power. I will defiantly repurchase when I run out!

My Favorite Eyeliners!

Hey guys! So today I wanted to do a real quick post all about my favorite eyeliners. I’m a huge fan of eyeliners- I wear them on the top lash line and waterline almost everyday. So I have high expectations when it comes to eyeliners.  Here are a few of my favorite pencil, gel, and liquid eyeliners:

1. MAC’s Blacktrack Fluildine

I LOVE THIS EYELINER. It’s great for lining the upper lash line as well as the tight line. It glides on and is super easy to apply.  It also lasts all day, which is always a good thing. J

2. Lancome Le Crayon Khol

This is my absolute favorite eyeliner for lining the waterline. I personally don’t like liners that are very creamy, because I feel like they smudge all over my face by the end of the day. This eyeliner is just perfect- not too creamy but not to hard on the eye. It has amazing staying power as well.

3. Buxom Insider Eyeliner

I have this eyeliner in Black Jasper. It's  a beautiful blue/grey color. This eyeliner is perfect for smudging along the lower lashline. It's great for giving a very subtle hint of color. I LOVE it. 

4. Covergirl Perfect Blend Eyeliner

This pencil eyeliner was actually my first eyeliner ever! I have loved it ever since! It's literally lasts all day on the waterline- which is always a problem for me. It also comes with a great sponge tip applicator on the end of it for smudging out your liner for a more smokey/smudged out look.

5.  L’Oreal Lineur Intense Liquid Liner

I'm usually not a fan of liquid liners, but I really like this one. It has a felt tip applicator which makes it very easy to apply. It does dry out very quickly, but other than that I love it. It's a great liquid liner!

Nail of the Day/Review

This  is my first "real" blog post so bare with me! Okay, so a few days ago, while at Target, this particular nail polish caught my eye. I saw that Revlon had a new formula of nail polish, called the Top Speed Fast Dry Nail Enamel. I'm always getting so annoyed with nail polish that takes forever to dry, so I decided to try this. The color I got was called 555 Orchid. It's an absolutely beautiful color!

When I first put this on, my first thought was that it was very opaque. Like completely opaque in one coat. But I did notice that this nail polish is a little goopy. Also, it didn't dry as fast as I hoped it would. Yes- it is fast drying. But nothing too special.

As for the color, it's probably one of my new favorite nail polish colors.  It's a very unique color that would be flattering on all skin types.
